Bye Bye January! Hello February!

This month has been full of adventures!
On the 7th, Carter turned 5 and today, the 31st, Kaitlin turned 14. Carter had a birthday party at Bounce U. He got to invite lots of friends and bounce with them on all the fun obstacle things.

Kaitlin got a surprise party. A whole bunch of girls from school gathered at a house down the street and then walked down to our house. They had balloons and presents and Kaitlin was completely surprised!. Then they all got in my mom's car and went go cart racing, Lazar tagging, and went out for ice cream! Kaitlin also got her braces off and is so excited about her new smile! We also had a family birthday party today with Rueben's family and Angee's family.

Throughout this month I decided some big things in school. I decided to try out for honor orchestra in March, which will help my normal viola classes and it is a great opportunity! I am really excited and practice a whole bunch. I also tried out for honors classes for 7th grade next year. I hope I make it in! The last thing I did was started practicing for auditions for our 6th grade musical! It is "Suessical the Musical" and I am so excited to try out this March or February!

Mckay is still working at the Hay Barn and going to school. He got all A's this quarter! He is contemplating about doing tennis this season and has to work out his schedule with his job. He got asked to the girls choice prom by Bailey Wright, Bishop Wright's daughter. She asked him in the most creative way. She took 7 "ice cube" (the candy) boxes and put the letters to her name in them. Then she said " Don't give me the cold shoulder. Break the ice and go to morp with me." On a peice of paper and left it on our doorstep. We took a while to figure out the name but we got it! He answered her by tying balloons to her car and wrote "yes I will got to morp with you" on the balloons. Now all he has to do is learn how to dance!

Mackenzie continues to do cheer, ride horses, do gymnastics, and watch ICarly. She had a cheer competition on the 24th at the Phoenix Convention Center. We saw Jen Arnold from "The Little Couple"series for a doctors convention there and Kurt Warner who was there for the cheer competition also. His daughter was cheering. Mackenzie is becoming an excellent reader and continuing to learn how to ride her bike.

Dad is gardening in our back yard with his new products. The Square Foot Garden and the Square Foot Garden Mix. It is making gardening a whole lot easier.

Mom has got a new job as a hygienist at Dr. Wayne Lesueur's office. She is liking it but wishes her day were spread apart. She works Monday and Tuesday.

Sorry no pictures! I will try and get some in on the next post.
